Final Eye Candy of the Eve!!! Night!!

Eye Candy of the Eve!

Gift Cards, by Bratprince

Everybody complains that gift cards are impersonal and tragic Christmas gifts.  Screw that.....give me a gift card any day.  Frankly, I hate almost any gift someone gives me.  I have particular taste and I don't want most things people offer me.  Even Gary doesn't choose my gifts.  I pick them out and he gets what I want.

I LOVE gift cards.  Give them to me any time.  Fortunately, Gary's family did what I preferred and ganged up and gave me $150 in Amazon.com gift cards.  I know my way around Amazon.  USED is good.  You can get great things that have barely been touched if you know how to read the descriptions.  I just had as much fun as I did on Christmas buying all sorts of things I wanted!!!  All used...but gently.  I only spent $100 of my gift cards...so I still have $50 to spend on my beloved KINDLE.  Trust me...you want a KINDLE...you can buy one right here on my site...just scroll down on the right!!!

Just look at all the goodies I got for $100 on some one else's dime!!!

1:)  KD Lang's album Watershed!
2:)  Book:  The Romanov Legacy: The Palaces of St. Petersburg
3:) A respected biography of Edith Wharton
4:) An out of print biography of Marie Fedorovna (Nicholas II mother and the Dowager Empress of Russia .....I've wanted this one forever!
5:)  The White House: Historic Furniture and the First Families
6:) Fortune Hunters:  Dazzling Women and the Men they Married
7:)  Kylie Minogues album; Aphrodite
8:)  The Memoirs of Russian Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrov
9:)  GIANT..the three disc set from the movie
10:)  The movie; 'That Hamilton Woman' with Lawrence Oliver and Vivien Leigh
11:)  Standing Next to History:  A bio from a secret service man that served three presidents.

I'm happier than I was at Christmas.  I love gift cards.  You get what you want and these are things I wanted...silly or not!!!

Yours, Bratprince

Today in incredibly stupid things Jonah Goldberg wrote

Jonah Goldberg has a doozy of a syndicated column today arguing that the repeal of "don't ask, don't tell" and the inevitability of gay marriage are both Officially Good News for Conservatives, because they are Bad News For Liberals, because now the gays are bourgeois. As we all know, what liberals have always actually wanted is not "equality" or "equal rights," but for our radical bohemian values to undermine society until it crumbles and we can erect a glorious anarchic state built on free-gay-child-love. But gay marriage will ruin our plans!  Click here.
