As a long-time Disney fan, thanks for the article. Hopefully greed's not taking over the quest for real quality. Roy Disney's death is a real loss as he cared about his family's legacy ... but they still have Pixar's John Lasseter to help guard animation and the parks. I've got my fingers crossed on the new "Alice." I've loved the Lewis Carroll books since before I could read, and they've never been adequately filmed. Not sure what I think about the previews I've seen thus far ... and the review in "Variety" was not too hopeful ... still ... I'll admit, I'm more concerned about the overall quality than the methods of releasing ... though I can understand the concern from distributors.
