Elderly Vet Arrested for Allegedly Threatening to Kill Obama

A 78-year-old Navy veteran and retired New York Police Department cop has been arrested for allegedly threatening to kill President Barack Obama "for what he has done to this country."  Michael Stephen Bowden, who now lives in South Carolina, told a nurse during a routine medical exam at a Veterans Administration clinic on Nov. 16 that he "was thinking of traveling to Washington, D.C., to shoot the president because he was not doing enough to help African-Americans," according to an affidavit filed in the case.
