Messages, Emails and Facebook Comments to the Bratprince Answered!

I get a lot of messages....oddly enough people rarely comment on the BLOG itself but they do contact me through email, Facebook, etc.  Since I consider the BLOG really an online magazine (since I don't actually blog that often) and I get lots of opinions and questions....I thought I would be like a real magazine and answer in a public forum.  So here goes.....I will try to order them by the most frequently asked, but forgive me if I misplace the order a bit!

1:)  Why did you stop adult eye candy?  Frankly it was just too much trouble.  Too many people were offended and it just wasn't worth it.  Plus, there are a million sites for that kind of thing.  (Still...watch for a bit more risque' eye candy...I plan to get closer and closer to the edge...as the BLOG itself says...this was created for gay men but we love all of our other visitors and fans)!

2:)  Why the recipes?  You wouldn't believe how many people send me comments on how much they like the recipe idea.  My friend Mike used the recipe for black eyed peas for New Years and LOVED it.  Not to mention, I frequently cook the recipes I print.  I even got an email from a straight guy I knew in college that told me he signs on to the BLOG exclusively for the recipes.

3:)  What's up with CINDY ADAMS?  A lot of my readers are on the East Coast.  Cindy is the top society columnist.  The NY Post website is a pain...thus I make it easy for them to go straight to her column.  By the way, it is often about all sorts of things that would interest everybody...although admittedly she generally writes about NY and East Coast things.  Remember folks, Manhattan is not my actual home, but is my spiritual home.....I always feel at peace there.

4:)  You skip MAJOR news items.  I got a VERY ugly email about this calling me shallow and only concerned with "minor" things.  I think I was in a bad mood that day and said F*** you in my response.  Seriously, you can find out the major news of the day if you simply sign on to the web.  I try to find different and hard to find items for my readers.

5:)  Now that you are all in to volunteering and buying only what you need...what's up with all the luxury and glam. items?  Well, frankly...I love luxury and glam. items...I simply have enough.  I love showcasing them, but probably wouldn't buy any of them.

6:)  The Royal Watch..why?  First...I have a lot of European readers that email me that they enjoy Royal news....second...secretly at heart I am a monarchist....for heaven's sake, I majored in Imperial Russian History.  My license plate says CZAR!

7:)  What happens when you skip a day or so?  Well folks, I do have jobs to do and obligations!  I try to keep up.....but some days I need a break.  You always have the GREAT feeds on the right side of the BLOG that will keep you informed on LOTS of things.

8:)  Why don't you actually blog more?  Frankly, I don't have that kind of time and I also work as a professional writer.  Writing is my job.  I don't always want to spend my free time writing.

9:)  What is PAGE SIX?  Come on you civilized guys and gals.  PAGE SIX is the ultimate in society and gossip columns...from the NY Post.  Those "in the know" always read PAGE SIX.  Heck, Meryl Streep mentions it in "THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA".
