So many of my readers are fond of hearing about my cat, Astrid. Anybody want him? (kidding)
I swear, he is driving me completely crazy. Our "new" dog, Diego which we took from our neighbor when she moved is not "cat oriented" and although he is slowly learning to stay away from Astrid (another reason to go insane...I'm tired of screaming "NO!" at the damned dog)....Astrid spends most of the day on my bed and only gets down when the dogs are outside.
To his great pleasure...the dogs sleep upstairs while I sleep downstairs. Before Diego, he slept with me all night. Now he has decided with freedom comes mayhem.
Astrid spends all night running around the house causing trouble. He climbs a tree I have in my bedroom and makes noise...he knocked my Kindle down and now it is not working correctly. He got into a bowl of dried roses we had (I had to throw them all away) and spread rose petals from one end of this large house to the next. It took me thirty minutes to vacuum them all up.
He gets on furniture (especially to my displeasure is his love for sleeping on my Chippendale dining table which cost a great deal of money and now has tiny little footprints on it everyday. I have to wipe down the table constantly.
Twice I have had to close him up in the laundry room because he goes nuts in my bedroom at three in the morning waking me up.
My friend Debbie's cat just had EIGHT..count them..EIGHT kittens. I feel for her, I really do!
We love Astrid but I swear I'm getting kitty tranquilizers if he doesn't stop this crazy behavior.
Yours, Bratprince
