God*******!!!! So many of you as my readers followed the story of Astrid, the little kitty that didn't give up and made it as a "family member" even though I didn't want him at first. He was a great and sweet little kitty....but as a cat....he can be very frustrating. Many of you know I adore roses and have a large rose garden. Due to Astrid, I cannot keep roses in the house anymore. He thinks of roses like catnip for some reason. He eats the petals. For the second time in two weeks he has knocked over a huge vase of roses (this time yellow roses from one of my favorite bushes). My living room Persian rug is soaked in water. Thank goodness this time he didn't hit my leather coffee table or my coffee table books. Pets, gotta love them, but sometimes you simply want to strangle them!!!
