The Philadelphia Orchestra Association Files For Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection

The Philadelphia Orchestra, one of the leading orchestras in the world and renowned for its acclaimed performances, historic international tours, and best-selling recordings, today announced the decision of its Board of Directors to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the United States Bankruptcy Court. Click here.  (From Bratprince:  I really hate to see this.  As a nation, we simply do NOT support the arts like we should.  Ask yourself, how long has it been since you saw a symphony performance???  I can answer "not long ago" as I just went to see a performance of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and have tickets for three upcoming events).
