Michael B. just posted this on Facebook. I like Michael and his posts! Michael is a fixture at a local shop in Dallas that sells groovy clothing to gay men. He doesn't know it, but he rang up the shirt I got married in ). I love this story...and it is very touching! Congrats. Michael...you win the first 'Big Fabulous Homo'. award ever. So after I left the store tonite, I stopped by Krogers to pick up a few things. Getting out of the car I see this straggley little man standing there. Hes hungry and ask for money. I only had 5 in cash but I give it to him. Usually its a no cause of all the street ppl down here. Coming up an isle I see him at self checkout trying to scan a 2 pack of cup cakes. Asking for help he is ignored. I walk up to him and say follow me. We go over to the premade sandwiches, chicken etc. I tell him to pick out anything he wants. He grabs a sandwich. I tell him to get something else. When we are done he has 2 sanwiches, a box of chicken strips and a carton of potato salad. I ring his stuff up and
when I turn around to him he has 5 and those cup cakes extended to me. "Heres your money back sir". I scan the cupcakes and close his hand around the 5. He thanks me, hugs my arm and leaves. Thats my Daddy in me! Miss you Dad.
Thats awesome to be the first Will. Im honored. And I cant wait to see who comes next. I will have to look through your pics for that shirt. Dont tell me, it will be like "Wheres Waldo".
