Paul Jasmin: California Dreaming

Photographer Paul Jasmin, a Los Angeles resident, has tapped into the sensuality and allure of those who have made Los Angeles their homes -- the place where they pursue their dreams. "It is when I see their faces, that I long to photograph them. That is my fantasy life. They keep me dreaming,” he says of his latest collection, California Dreaming, featuring sensitive portrayals of the young men and women shot at and around his Mid-Wilshire apartment, which -- as legend has it -- William Randolph Hearst purchased as a gift for his lover Marion Davies.
